Sorry to say this but Twittia is dead. It was cool at that time where there were no cool clients for Twitter, but now there are enough better clients. Try  http://www.atebits.com/tweetie-iphone/

Twittia

Twittia is a clean native Twitter client for OS X written in  RubyCocoa.

You can download the 1.0-beta version: Twittia.app.zip (the beta is free of charge)

It uses some small ruby-libs:

•  HTML entity encoding and decoding for Ruby
•  Twittery
•  TwitterSearch
•  Gmail Notifr (Using the Growl notification lib and the Key Chain lib)

You can view the tickets to check out more about which features it will get and so on. And It needs a neat Icon too, so if you are a good graphic designer and would like to help out I'd really appriciate it ;-).

Twittia 1.0-beta nightly builds

While the alpha is quite stable and there are people who use it on a daily basis, I am working on the beta version which lookls like this:

This is work in progress but I'm loading up a nightly build every now and then, but this nightlies are quite unstable even if they look cool and prommise more needed functionality :-). (The nightlies are also free of charge)
